Submission Guidelines

 

SPRAYGRAPHIC BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOSHOW

Spraygraphic.com is calling for PHOTOGRAPHERS and ARTISTS to submit original BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY for our upcoming art show.

 

The THEME: is OPEN

 

We want to have a show that showcases your creativity in black and white photography.

 

We expect to end up with a gallery full of diverse, compelling, and fresh photos from all over the world.

 

The Opening will be at Greens Café in Tempe on December 12^th, 2009.

The show will then move to Conspire Art Gallery in Phoenix and also to That’s a Wrap café in Phoenix.

 

Requirements: IMPORTANT – Read This to Avoid Problems With Your Submission!!!!!

1) The Deadline for Entry is December 10th, 2009. 

 

2) All your submissions will be sent digitally via email.

 

3) Only Black and White Photos will be Accepted and only via digital submissions.

 

4) We are going to hang al the photography on mat backs and/or via wires depending on the space on each wall.

5) All artists that submit a piece must have a spraygraphic profile to be accepted for submission. No profile, no hanging.

6) All participants must send their information with their email submission

 

It must include: their spraygraphic address (Ex. www.spraygraphic.com/chuckb) along with your name, location, title of piece.

7) Only Black and White Photos will be Accepted and only via digital submissions.

8) Each artist is allowed up to 5 photos A five dollar printing and mounting fee per photo.

9) Time is of importance because the show is on December 12th and we would like to begin hanging on December 7th.  

 

10) The Spraygraphic Black and White Photo Show will be shown at Green’s Cafe on December 12^th for a month long run and then selected photos will move onto two different galleries, Conspire Art Gallery in Phoenix and That’s a Wrap Café in Phoenix for the month of January and February. There will not be a PARTY...PARTY, but rather a soft opening.

So far, the response has been enormous from the Spraygraphic Community!!!!!!!

Everyone that submits a work will be hung at the show!!!!

***IMPORTANT***ONE WAY TO SUBMIT***

 

DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS 

 

A $5.00 digital printing will be available to allow people from distant locations to easily participate…also you won’t have to worry about the originals being damaged or anything like that…so we are doing digital submission only!!!

 We want to fill this place up with your best black and white photography!!!

1) Send your 1 to 5 images in a 300 dpi or greater GRAYSCALE .jpeg file only.

Layout can be Full Bleed...

 2) Send digital files to:

 3) In the email subject line please type: BW PHOTO SUBMISSION

 ---MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR Name, Title, Location (where your from), and your spraygraphic profile address in your email.

 4) We will then send you an invoice via your email via paypal.

 You pay the invoice and we print out the photos and hang it up...thanks so much...

THE PHOTOS WILL NOT BE FOR SALE!!! It’s a group show for the sake of ART!!!

At the show: We will provide the contact info you give us for audiences so if they would like to purchase something from you…they can contact you and you will be able to sell directly with them…

 

AFTER THE SHOW
We would like to donate the photos to one or two local art high schools.
