Falter
Impossible to comprehend,
Unable to understand,
For ignorance can never mend,
The pain you have at hand.
Alone in a corner,
Isolated by the mind,
You are the sole mourner,
For the bliss of mankind.
If you could only tell them,
That what they do is wrong,
You could be the priceless gem,
That ends this horrid song.
Now begging for salvation,
Weeping to repent,
You wish for the elation,
That to you lies have lent.
But now the truth has been revealed,
And from it you have learnt,
That reality has been concealed,
Although not throughoutly burnt.
They had given you false hope,
Of gaining true acceptance,
With their shallowness you know cope,
As you see your own rejectance.
Finally you stand to face,
Those people that you knew,
And you powder your words with lace,
As they had done to you.
