Embracing and Wasting

Gabi Mullinz 2008Coffee on the Moon
Tonight, the stars are out,
and I need to strike up conversation.
They hang down on fish hooks and heartstrings,
I hum along with them in my time of suffering.
They are lovely, I am lonely,
and their beauty is always welcome.
They are perfect, I am ugly.
and I need some conversation.
Pour some coffee and speak.
Speak among the stars.
Violent Apparitions
The Ghosts are abusing me,
their sheets are amusing me,
my mind, it is losing me,
and time, it is bruising me.
The ghosts, they are using me,
and everyone is accusing me.
If they don't listen,
I'll be gone.
And I won't be missed,
by anyone.
Grudges and Arrows
You can kill me if you want,
strike me down right where I stand.
It's your nightmares I will haunt
When the blood should grace your hand.
She Feels Alright
Floating high above an old partystore,
I realize, they always seem to find me.
Now all my organs have been stolen,
and I am left to grope through the night.
Waiting for the sweet caresse of your voice,
I devour the patience,
and time ticks on.
My feet have gone numb,
and my blood won't return to my head,
so I expect to faint.
Land on the moon with a shovel in my hand,
and I curl up in a crater,
Ignoring the "No Vacancy" sign,
I sleep on in the silent universe
Do not wake me, Do not disturb.
