The Four Goddesses of the Seasons. (Even though it's obvious, i'll list them in order clockwise from the top - Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring)
(Left to Right): Din, Nayru, and Farore, the 3 goddesses of Hyrule, and the Tri-force. My versions from the Legend of Zelda video game series.
Hehe, i was listening to Marilyn Manson that day, and had watched one of his videos that had goth cheerleaders and thought this would be a hot idea. (No, i'm not one of those obsessed fans - though i used to be - still like his older music and his message on societies and religion)
Samus Aran, Intergallactic Bounty Hunter, from the Metroid series of video games. Sometimes she needs some lovin', too...
A beautiful horned goblin sorceress or goddess, flying through the air, hehe.
From the myth of Hercules breaking away from his mother's nipple, and the breast milk spattering across the sky creating the galaxy or the Milky Way. (Galaxy is an old greek word for breastmilk) I drew this with normal pencil on white paper, then just made it negative on a cheap shareware graphics program.
I don't really have an intent or a message with this one, but the idea popped into my head, and i love feet, so why not, eh?
A surrealish one of a girl enjoying her nightly visits from the Dark Mites (not from anything as far as i know, just my bizarre mind)
Some of you may already know this, but an Athame (ATH-a-may) is a ceremonial dagger. I was always proud of this piece.
This is a combination piece i did, in tribute to one of my good online artist friend's Swaggertoes (check her out at deviantart - she's awesome). I combined my imagery of full figured women, and squid tentacles and the color lime green, and her full figured women (with a face similar to her own), tree branch hair, and keys hanging from strings with tribal body markings. I am very proud of this one. I think of this character as the dimensional goddess you meet once you break from your natural dimension - but in order to travel to another, you have to choose the right key and insert it into the lock in her lower back - or you'll become one of the keys!
This was my submission for the theme "Drop" in that 100 Themes list that's been going around artist communities.
This beautiful faery was drawn from one of the poses of Leonard Nimoy's photo project of all the big beautiful dancing women.
The Goddess Awakens to Tiny Voices
Imagine one day you're sleeping in your temple and all of a sudden tiny voices start crying and praying at your doorstep? Or imagine if you're a primative tribe of people and you suddenly discover this giant temple in the middle of the forest! What would YOU do? Hehe. This is meant to go along with the Goddess Fountain piece, and a 3rd to make a tryptych (spelling?) - but i haven't figured out an image for the 3rd one yet...
