Go To:www.cafepress.com/rogermapes This painting appeared in Billboard magazine as cover art for a pull out magazine called "On The Tip". The original painting is in the collection of Larry Flick, former Billboard magazine dance music editor. No-I did NOT mean DIVA (as in opera star or pop diva). I meant DEVA. A Deva is a plant fairy that helps grow the particular plant that it is connected to. I found out about these creatures in my studies of the supernatural and I love cornfields--so I imagined the wonderful DEVAS that were there helping the corn to grow. The original painting was made of acrylic, house paint, spray paint, wax and glue.
