i shoot film. to me this choice is similar to a vinyl record junkie. there is nothing like the pop and hiss of a vinyl record. the sound is more full and robust. i feel the same way about film. whether it be polaroid, saturated e6 slide film, or high speed gritty and grainy black and white, i choose film. it has a certain texture and range that is different from digital. for polaroid there are all the tiny inconsistencies, (like those pops and hisses on vinyl) that make it a unique visual medium. for me i see it as its own art form. there are so many outcomes and ways for the photographer to manipulate and change the visual outcome. for me there is nothing like it. i hope you enjoy viewing it as much as i enjoy producing it. thank you.
