About
My name is Alexis Snider. I am twenty one years old. I am a writer at heart. My mother says that I am just an artist in denial. I’m not exactly sure I am. I do love art though, in all forms. I love painting, drawing, photography, dancing, singing, acting, and so on. I am a performer, an entertainer if you will. I am a very idealist person. I want to travel the world. I know there is so much more to see than what is just outside of my door. I am interested in almost everything. I adore the fact that life is bittersweet. I appreciate both the positive and the negative aspects. Along with being idealist, I am actually a very analytical individual. I seem to dream and then over analyze ever real life situation. It seems to be in my moments of struggle that I produce the best work. I write to prevent myself from going completely insane. I’m terribly afraid of the future, but at the same time it excites me more than anything. I am always excepting change because I have realized, good or bad, it is inevitable. I admire anyone who can hold up a good conversation. I have many things in life that I adore wholeheartedly. My very favorite things in life are coffee, conversations, and friends. I am a photographer of fun, a film maker of chaos, a computer geek, a fashion freak and music is my muse. I enjoy life to the fullest or at least I seem to believe I do. I enjoy how experience can change a person’s view so easily. I have a lot of respect for people whom respect themselves and others. In relationships of any kind I believe that honesty, compassion, and humor are the most important. I am very sarcastic and nostalgic. At the same time I am always seeking newer and fresh ideas and concepts. I am very much life a sponge when it comes to learning. I decided to call this blog my coffee cup because for me a good cup of coffee and a good blog entry are one in the same. You get the same good coffee from the same good old cup everyday. I want to share my blog entries in such a way that a person seeks it daily for not only the comfort or the familiarity but also the good taste and aroma that all wonderful cups of coffee have. My coffee cup is your daily or at least weekly dose of my life, my poems, my stories, my adventures, and just my fresh and tasty perspective on the world. I hope that after reading this the title makes a little more since and you will want to return for the very reason I named it as so.
