About

The mission of Art for Shelter is to expand the contemporary art audience and enrich the social services environment.

A program run by The Salvation Army in Southern California, Art for Shelter brings contemprary art into homeless centers and social services facilities.

Art for Shelter includes an art gallery open to the public in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Silver Lake. Open Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm, the Alegria Gallery is located at 2737 W Sunset Blvd LA CA 90026.
