Contract About

Born in Nineteen Hundred Seventy Four in the thriving metropolis of Pueblo, CO. The world had little knowledge of what was to come. Brandon started his artistist journey as soon as his motor skills would alow it. At a young age, art was a great creative outlet and a way to cure boredom. At tender age of five I would paint rocks and sell them to other kids from the block for 5 cents a pop! The sweet, sweet taste of ice cream paid for by art sales drove young Brandon in the direction of an art career.

Aside from the financial success, notoriatey would play a big factor in the further enfluence on Brando's decision to persue visual asthetics. Coloring and drawing contests from different media outlets lead to many awards and recognition as a youngster. Receiving scholarships from Bemis Art School in Colorado Springs awarded him the opportunity to experiment with new artistic medias. While at Bemis, Brandon studied sculpture, achitecture, and watercolor to name a few. All the knowledge of color theory and process fueled the fire that burn deep within. Towards the end of high school, the future was coming into focus. With college being that next step, Brandon was offered scholarships from some of the top art schools in the nation. Mr. Miera decided to go to a small college in New Mexico on art scholarship and to play baseball. Realizing baseball was not in his future, Brandon chose to focus on the one true talent he had. Art.

After four years and a Bachelors Degree, Brando came back home to Colorfull Colorado. After a short stint with a local comic book publisher, Brandon realized there was no money in independent comics. He began working in the Government contracting industry as a graphic artist to pay the bills but his freelance work has been the creative outlet that brings him recognition. Mr. Miera won the regional design award for the Air Force Memorial honoring the men and women who served and are serving in the Pike Peak region. This design work led to a continued relationship with the Air Force and other branches of millitary for variuos illustration projects for promotional materials.

The BAM name has slowly (but surely) been getting out and is expanding into the entertainment industry. Brando started making concert posters for local venues in Colorado for some nationally known acts such as Blondie, Static-X, and Five Finger Death Punch just to name a few. I don't know what the future brings but The BAM will see you there!
