Franco grew up in Tuscany between the wild Maremma's countryside and the medioeval narrow streets of Siena where he studied Communication. During his studies he began contributing to WorldBy.Com's websites, publishing over 250,000 pictures of more than 2000 hotels all around Europe. Franco's nomadic inclination led him explore the four corners of the world, from Iceland to Namibia, from China to U.S., where he settled in New York City for a while in 1999. Back to Italy, he now lives in Milan, but ready to move wherever Photography will bring him. He attended many workshops, at Toscana Photo Workshop between 2005 and 2007: Andreas H. Bitesnich, Guido Argentini, Gianluca Colla. And Toscana Foto Festival, between 2004 and 2008: Gabriele Rigon, Antonio Guccione, Amedeo M. Turello, Nikos Economopoulos and Douglas Kirkland.
During his stay in New York he attended a summer course in printmaking (silkscreen) at the School of Visual Art. Silkscreen is one of the most versatile and widely used methods of printmaking, as a photographer he found a new way of expressing his ideas through screen printing.
