About
Gloria Nieto is a Toronto-based photographer who is dedicated to documenting stories of social and environmental significance around the world. Over the last few years she has worked on issues ranging from the expansion of the eco-village movement in Spain to the struggles of a Canadian indigenous community in defence of their land. Gloria studied graphic design and biology in Spain and Italy. In 2010 she co-funded The Invisible Collective, a photography group operating out of Canada, Spain, Poland and Morocco. She believes that stories of ordinary people and personal struggle are avenues through which we can explore the bigger issues facing our world.
