I was born in 1959 in Southampton England and currently earn my living as a freelance English teacher in Budapest, Hungary. I have been working on my creative path since the early 80's, during and after graduating in Thatcher's Britainwhen there were 500 graduates to one job, on one of Thatcher's grants: I decided to be a government artist. Throughout the 80's I completed two two-year part-time courses in painting, then in craft materials. I left the UK in 1996. I never really felt equal to competing with the current Post-Modernist hegemony at work in most galleries, nor in trying to explain why my work, whilst patternistic and with an aesthetic component, was not actually 'decorative' when it always involved an inner psychic process. Currently, I have an exhibition on show at the Berltiz language school at Bajczi Zsilinszky Utca 29, 4th Floor, opposite the Arany János Utca metro stop. My other main artistic achievement is to have completed a full 78-deck of Tarot cards, the trumps of which have been published by Adam Mc Clean in a limited edition.
