About me
Maba is a Malaysian self-taught artist, living in the suburb of Kuala Lumpur. She adores sceneries and finds beauty in nature. Gardening is her hobby. Her interests are clearly manifested in most of her works.
Fascinated and participated in artworks since kindergarten and primary school. I have been seriously involved in painting since 2004 (after resignation from previous job).
Although I do not receive any formal training in art I do learn by reading, practising, observing the works of other artists and by getting advice from some of them. It has been my aspiration to be successful and recognised in my works. One way of measuring that is by looking at the number of feedbacks from viewers, other artists and art collectors.
I believe, beauty needs to be shared, admired, and sometimes, deserves to be acquired. It takes an art to create an art. I thank God for giving me some of the ability. Art rejuvenates my mind, and never fails to make me feel good.
