The inspiration for this cool shirt design comes from our web customer's request for a shirt that deals with women's rights. The art design consists of a 50's style pin-up model cutting a set of puppet strings with big red scissors. The shirt was inspired by women like Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Bettie Page, the Guerrilla Girls, and great literature from women writers such as Sylvia Plath, Virginia Wolff, Jane Austin, Maya Angelou, Louisa May Alcott, and Henrick Ibsen’s play The Doll House.
