Throughout my artistic career, I've discovered that there are two things I can draw really well: sexy girls and cadavers. As a result, much of my work is pinup/horror based, despite the fact that my Google Safe Search is on "moderate" and am so squeamish that I shut off "Scream" before the first murder had even occurred.
Imagination makes up for SO much more than reality can provide.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design (BFA Illustration), I'm currently attending the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, GA, working towards a Master's degree in Sequential Art, aka, comic books. The fact I am trying to get a Masters in comic books has earned me the nickname "Queen Nerd". I am proud of this nickname.
When I'm not being a pathetic Art Chick, I'm running around town looking the way I do in my profile pic– a living anachronism. I am involved in the burgeoning burlesque scene in Savannah and am the Girl Friday for the director of the Dr. Sketchy's Savannah branch. I am a tour guide for a historical house museum where I lead groups of tourists and am mothered by all the other guides (I seriously love my job).
