Welcome to The Flesh Pickles official preproduction homepage. We will be using our spraygraphic page as a way to show all the beginning stages of albums as well as previews for upcoming album tracks. Dr. Z and Scruff first made up the group The The Flesh Pickles. Specializing in Drum and Bass beats with hip hop overtones. They started out using digital turntables and have since advanced on to programs such as reason and ableton to create their own unique blend of drum and bass with break beats and hip hop. In the past a new album was posted on their webpage at least once a week. Currantly The the Dr and Scruff are going under the band name "The Abe Licoln Machine" for their alternative side project, along with their main band "Innuendo". Dr. Z still makes beats and write music for the band and Scruff has slowed down a lot in his beat making and focused on soundscapes and writing music for the bands he plays for. 

We are currently looking for an MC to add an element that we are certainly lacking. Anyone interested please contact us on any of our band pages. In the future we are trying to incorporate live jazz musicians as well as an MC. The music that we can produce has no limits and we are always looking for suggestions.

The level of production grows on a daily basis as we are teaching ourselves multiple audio programs simultaniusly. Growth is our goal and music is the mission, so give it a listen and all input is welcome......enjoy

 

NOTE: We would love to have actual album Art, instead of the photoshop cut and paste jobs we are currently doing. If interested I'm sure our theme is obvious, just drop us a line.  Thanks you for reading this far.

 

In an effort to show our progression their will be live sets, 15-20 min. tracks, posted as singles. In the near future we will be capable of doing live shows, if anyone would like to have us do a set at a party or anything let us know where you're at, all we ask is gas money and enough time to prepare for the show.

 

*Art work has been donated by spray graphics artist  Phil Hanson for the single "APHEX" & Matt Cipov for the full length album " AQUATIC NIGHTMARE" , as well as Brian Grey for allowing us to use "Sloth" for the album cover "Idle Minds".We will eventually be using a piece by Roy Pyper, all of whom have pages on spraygrachic as well as their own, which can be found in our links.
